Condolences
Jim Kirk Friend June 18, 2008

Kelly,

My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you in this difficult time. It feels like yesterday that I chatted with you and Jeff at Nye's to catch up on your life together. I didn’t know Jeff well or the two of you as a couple, but it was easy to see that you shared a special bond. That bond and all your memories will live on as you mourn and celebrate Jeff's life.

Kelly,

I have so much to say, but the words don't come out, so I will just say, that if you need anything, please ask and know that I am thinking about you and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Kelly ~

I am so sorry for your loss, my heart breaks for you and your family. Though I haven't seen either of you since high school, I do remember Jeff from the many art classes we shared, he was an amazing person and talented artist. Just know you are in my thoughts and prayers ~ may the love and memories you hold in your heart help you through this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Kris Neuman (Pangburn)

I am so so saddened by Jeffs' passing. He was very loved and a great contribution to our art community. He was a good neighbor to me , always the gentleman that he was raised to be, kind and courteous. I will miss our conversations about art and the art world and also miss his smiley happy face. My heart goes out to you Kelly, Jan and Wally and all other family members. I am here if I can be of any help. Thank you for sharing Jeff with me! DeDe

Kelly,

We are so sorry for your loss.  We didn't know Jeff very well, only seeing him at the kids birthday parties and other family gatherings through Ryan and Lisa, he was always so nice and always seemed to have a smile on his face.  For some reason Kasey always gravitated towards him whenever we were together and Jeff always played with him or let him hang out by him.  I remember once a long time ago Jeff and Kasey were sitting at a table and Kasey was coloring and Jeff was watching him and when we asked what they were doing Kasey said "I'm teaching Jeff to color", Jeff just smiled and pretended like he was learning from this 4 year old kid.  What a tragic loss, Jeff will surely be missed by many, I will miss seeing his friendly smile at future gatherings.  Our thoughts are with you Kelly.

Hi Kelly,

You both had a special place in my heart because of that studio on 4th floor (428) that I eventually leased, and then inherited the long brown sofa.

I'm glad to have known Jeff for the short time.  Great artist and great person, he leaves us all better for having been here.  best to you always,

Loretta Bebeau, NKB visual artist, now on 3rd.
