Condolences
Brooks Lundeen Family Friend/High School June 22, 2008

Dear Kelly and the Bergs, I want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Last Sunday I happened to get online and read the Startribune.   When I read the story and Jeff's name came up, I had a terrible sinking feeling.  I still can't believe he isn't with us.  I realized today at his celebration that he touched all in a special way, having spent alot of time with Jeff in art classes I realized how much he truly loved what he did.  He will be truly missed and his warm smile will always be with us.  I love all of you very much, I wish we had simpler times and that everyone still lived on Harpers Street (only a short big wheel ride away!).   I think of you all as my extended family....you all mean so much, with love...Brooks

Kelly,

These condolances say it all. He had a heart that matched his smile; big, beautiful and so full of love. You both are truly one of the most genuine couples we have ever met. Genuinely in love, genuinely happy and so genuinely kind to everyone. That is so rare these days to find. No doubt that this world is a sadder place now than it was June 14th. My heart goes out to you daily as you try desperately to put one foot in front of the other each day. I can't imagine losing my best friend, life partner and love of my life in such a split second. I'm truly sorry for your loss, honey. Please remember that we love you and that you are in our thoughts, prayers and our hearts for always.

Through my son I learned that Jeff was a talented artist, a loving husband and a true friend. Jeff helped Troy move furniture for me when I moved into my townhome. He was such a sweetheart I thought to myself how lucky Troy was to have Jeff for a friend. I pray daily for you Kelly and hope that our families can find strength to get through the days ahead Jeff will be so Missed!

Although I don't know you.  I did know Jeff quit well in High School.  For three years he was my locker partner and friend.  He is one of a kind.  He could brighten your day with a smile.  His concern was always for others.  Never thinking of himself.  Looking at the beautiful picture of you two shows

Dear Jan, Kelly and family,  I am sorry that we did not get to know Jeff. Only seeing him occasionally in the office. He was a beautiful man and must have been very special. I know we can't imagine your pain but he is in a wonderful place now. But so sad for the people who loved him. And from reading this web site we can tell he was loved very much.

Our deepest sympathy to you both and your family's.

Love, Pete and Maynette

Gerrie Zecher LO @ Edina June 20, 2008

Dear Jan, Kelly & the entire family,

You don't know me, but I am a mortgage office at Edina Realty in Forest Lake.  When our manager Jacquie told me about your loss, I was sickened!  I lost my son 3 years ago, also in a terrible car accident.  His fiance was with him & they were coming back from their wedding shower.  They were to be married in May & he was trgically killed in March, 12 days after his 32nd birthday!

I know exactly what you are going through!  I'm living it daily, but I want you to know that there are people & books out there who can help.  If it wasn't for my faith, friends, associates, books & even people who I didn't know there for us, I don't think we would of made it.  Please take advantage of all those resorces during these times.

My heart goes out to each & everyone of you.

You'll be in my thoughts & prayers & if you ever want to talk, feel free to look me up!

Gerrie
