I just watched the Kare 11 clip about Jeff that Kelly did the other night. The only thing I can think right now is that Kelly is the most amazing woman I have ever met. I know she probably doesn't remember me since we have not seen each other since junior high confirmation class, but she is absolutely amazing. Please share with her my condolences and support for all she is doing to get Jeff's artwork into the Walker!

Kelly: I just saw your story on KARE 11 . . . through tears. So tragic, beautiful and moving.
When you speak about your husband, you look just like I do when I speak about my late boyfriend--like you are still completely enamored, and like you still feel the pain every single day. I get it.
The best I can wish for you is that you will find peace. I know how elusive it can be, and that no one deserves it more.
Take care of yourself.

Hello to the both of you. I just recently heard about the loss of Jeff. I am so sorry for the both of you.
Kelly - I am so sorry for what you have been going though. The one thing that immediately came to my mind was how much love you always had in your voice and eyes, when you spoke about Jeff as we talked in our little office at Edina Realty. It was so clear to me the wonderful relationship you shared. Please find peace in that and although, your marriage was much to short that is was obviously true love. Some thing some peole don't experience in a lifetime. Your dreams my have ended much too soon but your love is endless.
Jan - As a mother myself, I do not know what to say. I am so sorry for your loss. I watched my mother in-law lose a son much, much too young leaving a very young wife behind as well. She struggled with her loss, but found comfort in her faith. It is never supposed to happen that way, she used to say. My mother in-law will always have an emty spot in her heart and wonder about Mike's future but we now laugh and talk about fun things and wonderful memories.
Please remember that in spirit he will always be with you both and it sounds like he was quite a man to be proud to love.
Take care; my thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Kelly ~
My heart breaks for you just reading your entry today ~ I know there is nothing anyone can say or do that will ease the pain and emptiness you're feeling. Just know there are many people that think about you often and pray that someday soon your smile will return.
Hugs!!
Kris
